Maximize Productivity
Staff can focus on their work rather than spend time manually searching through files for documents. Each scanned document is assigned a searchable keyword, making it easy to locate the exact document needed for effective document management.
A Turn Source Imaging professional will walk you through every process of document scanning in Los Angeles from document shipping to indexing and completion. By speaking with a document scanning representative, you’ll receive an estimate for the services, as well as an ETA of when the work can be completed.
At Turn Source, we can send our drivers out to your office to pick up records. If your organization needs help boxing and packaging records we can also help with that too. All of our customers are assigned a Customer ID, and each box a unique label, which allows tracking from start to finish.
Our highly-trained preparation staff prepares the documents for scanning by removing staples, repairing torn pages, separating important records, and seeking out hindrances in order to make the scanning process as efficient as possible.
After the documents have been prepared by our preparation staff, we then send them over to the scanning department, where we use high-quality commercial scanners to scan them. Once the scanning is complete, we can either return the documents to you or we can shred them for a minimal fee. If during the document scanning process you need to access one of the documents, we can easily scan or search for the document with our inventory tracking system and then email it to you through our company’s secure file share.
This stage involves indexing the documents after they have been digitized. It allows each document to be easily searchable with keywords using OCR (Optical Character Recognition).
This stage involves reviewing scanned and indexed documents by our Quality & Assurance team.
If you have a very small number of paper documents, schedule a visit with a Turn Source sale representative at one of our document scanning locations.
The cost of document scanning in Los Angeles will depend on the number of pages being scanned, the types of documents involved (books, maps, backfiles, journals, hand notes, etc.), the number of obstructions involved (including wrinkles, staples, clips, and any general wear and tear), and if any additional services are required (such as shredding).
On-site services can be provided upon request. This custom service requires specific charges separate from the document scanning.
